I really liked this book and I would give it a 4.5. But as always I have to first praise the author for the work he does! Noah always writes a book that both captivates the reader and leaves them wanting more, but in this case it will be a standalone book.Something new that Noah is incorporating in his book is an omega who is not submissive and has a mind of his own. As someone who likes omega/alpha books I LOVE THIS!
In this book we meet Adrien, a wolf who has been away from the pack life and is trying to learn more about his wolf heritage. In comes Jasper the sexy drummer of a band who blows Adrien away.
The romance falls under that Romeo and Juliet storyline, and I think that is the main selling point!
The reason I gave this book a 4.5 is because everything just fell into place. I know there is a page limit and the whole happy ending, but there weren't any surprises between the couple that shocked you. Another reason for the 4.5 is because I would have a loved an ending where each pack becomes aware of the relationship. But I do know that Noah is trying to start the standalone books and no more series so the the way the story went it understandable.

I really really loved this book. It's nice to finally read a stand alone, and this one was so cute and irresistibly heartwarming. It was well written, which made it very easy to become totally engaged with this story. Adrien was such a cutie and the way he went after Jasper was just adorable. He was such a persistent little fella which had me cracking up at times. Usually books have a bit too much grief and conflict for me and not enough happy moments. It was a relief and real pleasure to read about the happy moments these two experienced during their risky bit of time shared together. I didn't want anything to separate them,ever, but that's just me. ) It was especially cute when they rolled around together in their animal forms. I truly enjoyed this book!
Adrien and Jasper are adorable!!! When I think omega, I think submissive. What I liked about this story was that although Adrien is an omega and Jasper is an alpha, Adrien is very persistent, tenacious, and doesn't meekly accept the submissive role. It is actually Adrien who pursues Jasper instead of the alpha pursuing the omega. It is super cute! Another thing I loved is that it's shifters from different packs - Adrien a werewolf and Jasper a were-tiger. Their packs live close to each other but there is a rivalry going on between them. Think Romeo and Juliet but without the tragedy.
Awesome story!!! It's different than your average shifter story. Adrien is a young college age shifter wolf who grew up on a farm. He grew up repressing his inner wolf. Adrien lived with his human mother and shifter father. His parents had to leave his dad's pack because he wasn't living up to potential having fell in love with a human, and members of the pack would often alienate and antagonize young 2 year old Adrien and his mother. While in college Adrien was unfulfilled and curious about the part of himself he had to hide. He lives home and finds a pack. He's OK but still not quite happy. He has new friends, especially Daniel. I love Daniel. He pushes and support his friend even when he doesn't agree with his choices. That brings me to Jasper. He's an alpha tigerwere with a playful side. His loyalty to his pack is an obstacle but likely for them Adrien didn't grow up with a pack. I loved the ending. Adrien's hard work finally got him his alpha.

I really enjoy reading this author. His books keep me reading even when I am tired and need to sleep. I just hate putting the books down. This is no different. I liked the character development for Jasper and Adrien. One being and Omega wolf and the other an Alpha tiger. Living in an area where their packs have to share the area and the town that occupies it. Since both packs absolutely hate each other, yet nobody can recall why they do. Adrien sees drummer Jasper at a concert and falls instantly for him. Then ends up seeing him in the restroom at that concert where he offers to buy him a drink. They go to a hotel where they do their thing and the next morning Jasper is gone and left a note. Adrien wants to find out if there is something there or not but can't track Jasper down. Eventually Adrien's friend Daniel finds out where Jasper works and Adrien basically stalks him. From there the story progresses, but they have to keep their romance a secret due to being from opposite packs. Good moments and some fun times. Can't wait to see where these two guys will go with their romance.

One word describes this newest book from Noah for me. Captivating. It was literally hard to put down! Every time real life intruded, and I had to get up to do something, I pouted haha. This book was amazing! Loved loved loved it. The characters were so well developed and the story flowed smoothly. There was never a second when I was confused or unsure what was happening. Excellent editing! As for the story, *dreamy sigh* perfection. Adrien was so sweet yet had some serious backbone on him. I loved that he was an omega that wasn't afraid to go for what he wanted. And Jasper....mmmm wow can we just duplicate him in real life and send him my way? Hot! I love a bad boy alpha with a sweet loving side. Loved the tiger aspect Noah! The change up was a massive success. I even loved the feud even though it was ridiculous, just like every real feud is. It gave the book the right amount of drama and angst without making it too much. I am so in love with Noah's writing. Without a doubt my absolute favorite author in ANY genre. And he just keeps getting better with each consecutive book. Thank you for an amazing read and a much needed pick me up for the last couple days ♡
